Giraffe
The giraffe prints in this collection were made across Soysambu Conservancy in the Great Rift Valley and Solio Conservancy in northern Kenya — home to two of East Africa’s most endangered giraffe subspecies. Hadiza, a Rothschild’s giraffe at Soysambu, stopped and held his ground long enough to be photographed against a storm that hadn’t broken. Fewer than 1,600 Rothschild’s giraffes remain in the wild. The giraffe has lost nearly 40% of its population in thirty years without a single global campaign in its name. Each print is a signed and numbered limited edition of 50, produced on Hahnemühle bamboo paper with a Certificate of Authenticity.
