The Grevy’s zebra prints in this collection were made in Samburu National Reserve and at Borana Conservancy — two of the only places on earth where the Grevy’s zebra still moves freely. Fewer than 3,000 remain, confined to a narrow range in northern Kenya that grows smaller every year. Shujaa — named in Swahili for warrior — turned his head back once, in the early light, and that was the image. The Grevy’s is the largest zebra species on earth, the most precisely marked, and the most overlooked. Each print is a signed and numbered limited edition of 50, produced on Hahnemühle bamboo paper with a Certificate of Authenticity.
